Aterian’s Whelps – Hatchlings of Aterian

The spawn of Aterian, hatched en masse. Of the dozens to hundreds of children that Aterian will have, only a handful will grow to adulthood, with Black Dragon hatchlings often killing each other before they reach adolescence. Aterian will also gladly use her children as fodder against those who might try to halt her plan, though even a single whelp can be a threat to an adventurer who would underestimate them, let alone a horde of them.
